Hello Southern California! The producers of our film and our community partner at The Greater Los Angeles Agency on Deafness (GLAD) have a unique opportunity for the students in your community. We are extending an invitation to come see the theatrical run of a brand new documentary film called “See What I’m Saying: The Deaf Entertainers Documentary” produced and directed by Hilari Scarl.

This inspirational documentary follows four well-known entertainers in the deaf community: a comic, a drummer, an actor and a singer as they attempt to cross over to mainstream audiences. These uniquely talented entertainers overcome great challenges to celebrate success, and their story is uplifting, inspirational and educational to all of those who watch it, both in the deaf and hearing communities. This film will be the very first commercially released, open captioned film in cinematic history.

We would love for you and your students to be a part of history! We are extending an opportunity for you to purchase group tickets for our Los Angeles run. Showings are scheduled from Friday, March 19 – Thursday, April 1, 2010 with 5 screenings daily at 1:00pm, 3:10pm, 5:20pm, 7:30pm, and 9:50pm.
