The fact that attorneys, judges and other legal pundits finally give up on discriminating against blind law students is amazing. Some thought they would never release their bony fingers from the gavel. The technology for making a bar exam accessible has been around for over 20 years, but discrimination takes years to kill.

Next on the horizon is Blackboard and other products that could be made accessible, but aren’t fully accessible. The knowledge is there for making it work, but maybe technologists don’t really care.
